The expanded OTR Bodega and food hub will support Chad House, a family-focused health and wellness hub set to launch in summer 2026, providing resources and programming for the entire family.
The UFC Food System Bodega in Over-the-Rhine (OTR), Cincinnati — which opened in 2025 at 29 Green Street — is expanding into a larger location in partnership with Mercy Health and Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH). The new hub, set to open in February 2026, will be primarily stocked with fresh produce sourced from Ohio farmers.
More than just a food hub, this initiative is part of a community-driven effort designed to provide fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other groceries while also offering educational and engagement opportunities for local residents through programs like The Table Youth Culinary & Behavioral Health Program. UFC Food System aims for the OTR Food Hub to reflect the needs and priorities of the community, sourcing locally and allowing residents to help shape what is available on the shelves.
